A draft revised National Planning Policy Framework was published on 16 December 2025 and was subject to consultation until 10 March 2026. While it can presently be afforded only limited weight for decision-making purposes, its provisions — including the draft national development management policies it contains — have been considered, where relevant, in the preparation of this submission.
